From the reviews

I suddenly developed severe pain in my TMJ whenever I opened or closed my mouth. It became very uncomfortable, and I wasn’t sure what to do. A friend recommended acupuncture, so I decided to visit KALM Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine the next day.

★★★★★ — Yining, Feb 2026

I had been dealing with anxiety and difficulty sleeping for months. I was hesitant at first, but after trying acupuncture at this clinic near Loma Linda, I noticed a difference right away. I felt more relaxed after my first visit and slept much better that night. Dr.

★★★★★ — Limi, Feb 2026

I had a great experience at KALM Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine. The doctor was very professional, kind, and took time to thoroughly explain my condition and treatment plan. My pain has improved significantly, and I was especially happy with the cosmetic acupuncture — my skin looks brighter and less puffy.

★★★★★ — Shu, Feb 2026

I had severe lower back pain with muscle spasms, and it was so painful that I called on a Saturday hoping to get help. They were able to see me the same day. After the treatment, my back felt much looser and the pain improved a lot.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
