I had the best experience at Medosh today. Dr. Jennings and her assistant were incredibly knowledgeable while being firm and gentle with their approach to acupuncture, cupping, and massage. Dr. Jennings really gets to know her patients and provide a comprehensive understanding of why you’re visiting her clinic.
My experience at Medosh was fantastic. After a few weeks of knee pain from weight lifting, I came in to see if the folks at Medosh could help me with acupuncture. They offered knee injections along with needling and my knee pain was alleviated substantially.
I received injection therapy there on Friday. For cramping in my legs. I slept 11 hours Friday night. 9 hours Saturday night and 9 hours Sunday night. I always got by my whole life with only 6-7 hours se Keep a night. Oh and btw no leg cramps either.
Was very pleased with the service all the way around. I went for acupuncture combined with sound therapy and I feel amazing! Highly recommend! Already checking out other services to do next and definitely doing this same service again.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
