From the reviews

Dr Jack is Amazing and extremely knowledgeable. He is able to cure my body pain with cupping and acupuncture as it gets too tight and sore from the everyday life, work and gym. I am able able to feel relief instantly every single time I see him and I highly recommend him to anyone struggling with pain. He is awesome.

I was treated with acupuncture and cupping by Jack Chang on numerous occasions for about 4 weeks. After the second week, I noticed I was a lot more calm and felt at ease. He treated my liver and stomach. His cupping revealed where I had the most inflammation or lack of circulation.

Jack's many years of experience working as a Licensed Acupuncturist comes through as he could identify my issue just from taking my pulse for its quality as opposed to its rate. He stabilized my condition and the herbs he provided helped maintain movement in the right direction.

★★★★★ — Eric, Dec 2020

I have some chemotherapy-induced neuropathy that has worsened despite the last chemotherapy dose being more than several months ago. Jack has been working on rebalancing my body, and while the work is in progress, he has been able to treat the neuropathy with immediate effect.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
