From the reviews
Healing Hands! I’ve been going to the Norwalk location for medical massage therapy and the difference has been remarkable. Sherika is extremely professional, thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable.
So glad I found Sherika at Medi-ssage for my lymphatic massage! She made me feel safe and comfortable after my liposuction and skin removal procedure. I hugged her after my first visit cuz I was so grateful for her ❤️She is so helpful and informative and I look forward to going to my appointment not only for relieve…
I recently had knee replacement surgery. I was gifted three sessions of the lymphatic massage. Besides being a wonderful massage, it has greatly helped with the inflammation and healing process for my knee. After each session, I felt wonderful. I intend to get another package for myself.
I love Sherika and Kevin and how I feel when I leave their table. Her and Kevin are both very accommodating and kind. When I am not sleeping , they are a joy to talk to as well. :). Do yourself a favor and try medisage out. She takes insurance and FSA too.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
