I’ve been to many acupuncture clinics before. More often than not I fail to come back for a second visit. However with Dr. Namrata, I have been coming back for almost two years now! I found out about Dr. Namrata through one of my friends whom I saw amazing results from.
Dr. Namrata was highly recommended to me. I came to her due to debilitating sciatica pain. Using a combination of cupping and acupuncture, I felt instant relief. I came in with pain at a 10/10 and using a cane and after 2 visits, I didn’t need the cane anymore. After the third visit, I was able to drive myself.
Dr. Namrata is thoughtful, attentive, and considerate in her care. I initially came in with sports injuries—then more sports injuries—and each time I leave feeling better, more centered, and genuinely rested. This was my first experience with acupuncture and cupping, and it’s been incredibly positive.
I would say it was divine intervention for me to meet Dr Namrata for healing myself. She is an answer to my prayer requesting to find someone who can provide me direction to heal my health condition.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
