From the reviews

Brita is incredible! Her deep tissue technique is one of the best I’ve experienced. She found trigger points in my calf and neck/cranium with pinpoint accuracy, and I could actually feel the adhesions breaking up as she applied pressure. She has a real understanding of the body and delivers results.

This Was My First Time Getting A Massage And Visiting Massage Works Therapy Spa, NORTH. I Was A Bit Nervous Having Never Experienced A Massage. When I Arrived For My Appointment About 10 Minutes Early, I Was Greeting By A Receptionist. I Was Offered Water And Explained What The Next Steps Were Going To Be.

★★★★★ — James, May 2026

I’ve been having major lower back issues. Struggling to get up and down or even just stand up straight. My friend referred me to Massage Works, so today I went to see Tasha.

★★★★★ — Randi, Apr 2026

Tasha was truly amazing!! Tasha made me feel comfortable through out the massage. While performing a mixture of light to deep tissue massage, she was aware of my sensitivity to heat and took note of it every time she used a hot towel and the hot stones.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
