From the reviews
I've been a customer for years and I love Jamie, my regular therapist. However, when illness the day of my appointment caused me to have to reschedule to a few days later, I was able to see Donna. She did a fabulous job working out some back and neck tightness I had been dealing with.
Granted, I only went a couple times, both times were great. Very reasonable pricing and the ambiance is serene, the masseuses make sure your comfortable and do a great job. Wonderful sense of humor and conversation, if you enjoy that otherwise silence is good as well.
Always professional and respectful of your wishes. (Do you just want to relax, do you need them to work on a specific area, etc.) You feel cared for and not like you are merely a customer. The price is very reasonable for such high quality work. I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
