From the reviews

I am 73 years old and have Parkinson's Disease and Arthritis along with a number of "elderly" ailments! I am a devoted fan of Kris and Massage Artistry. She has taken care of me for about 3 years and I have never been dissatisfied with her work. Since I no longer drive, having her come to my home is necessary.

★★★★★ — Marilyn, Aug 2021

Kris’ level of skill and attention to deep, detailed bodywork are unparalleled. I’ve recommended her to many friends and everyone agrees — best massage of their life! Booking is easy, and Kris has trained and vetted her whole team so you always get the best. 10 stars! Don’t miss getting this massage!

Kris it’s such an amazing massage artist! She knows exactly what questions to ask and what pressure to put on your muscles. She goes above and beyond and makes you feel so comfortable while you are there. I highly recommend her. You will feel rejuvenated when you’re finished!!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
