“Her office/studio is not a pretentious spa environment at all, so it's very comfortable to be there.”
From the reviews
We live in Astoria, Oregon, about 120 miles north of Gleneden Beach, but when we need a massage we drive down to have Carol work on us because she FIXES whatever problem we may have at the time (we are in our 60s, so there's some aches that set in at times).
Appointment was with Anita." She was great. I was very relaxed after." My husband said. I had him go for a birthday treat!
Carol and Marcie are the best. The best massage I have ever had!
Wow: this was my first visit to Carol’s Massage on the Gleneden Beach Loop, and what a treat! The treatment room was cozy and the table comfortable. Katie Taylor was my massage therapist, and she is amazing!! She listened to me, then customized the perfect 90-minute massage to exactly what I needed.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
