In one visit Dr. Wu stopped a chronic cough I had for eight weeks. Two rounds of antibiotics and steroids did nothing and came with ugly side effects. Acupuncture, cupping and a strong massage worked miracles for me. I am so appreciative that he was able to heal this issue for me.
He is full of compassion for his patients and very thorough. He would spend time treating me with both acupuncture and massage and his work was very soothing. He successfully treated muscle spasms and insomnia. I saw him for over ten years, before moving to Vermont.
A true healer! Dr. Wu effectively cured 2 bouts of severe and excruciatingly painful gastritis that was confirmed by excellent Westchester specialists but rendered incurable w meds or surgery. Each episode was spaced 9 years apart and Dr.Wu had not increased his hourly rate of $70- during that entire 9 years. .

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
