From the reviews

I originally went to see Sarah Hocking for cupping on my back. During my assessment she observed I wasn’t able to turn my torso to the left as easily as I could to the right. I told her about a back injury from a couple years ago.

★★★★★ — Ashley, Dec 2025

I made an appointment with Sarah Hocking for pain in my shoulder blade earlier this year. She was able to get me into the clinic quickly and determined the cause. After doing some moderate adjustments and cupping, I felt better as soon as I stood up.

★★★★★ — Margaret, Dec 2025

Had a muscle recovery and cupping session for neck/ shoulder pain and stiffness. The session helped increased mobility and relieved the pain.

★★★★★ — Drew, Jul 2025

I absolutely love being a patient of Sarah Hocking! I was struggling with some postpartum issues and she has helped immensely. She even got to a root cause of something I’ve been struggling with as long as I can remember. She addressed it and I have been feeling better than ever.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
