From the reviews
Just had my first treatment at Lynnie Low Accupuncture and it won’t be my last! Not only did I immediately feel at ease but Lynnie is vibrant and clearly knows her craft. She listened to all of my concerns and had a proper treatment program right away. The cupping was fantastic followed by acupuncture.
Lynnie is so great she's really listening to you when you tell her about your needs every single appointment. I really love being heard and also letting her do what she does. My appointments with her include gua sha, cupping and acupuncture.
Dear skeptics and naysayers, if you have any doubts about acupuncture, please do yourself a favor and go see Lynnie! As a barber dealing with years of chronic upper back/neck pain, I was finally able to get a great deal of relief by regular visits with Lynnie.
Lynnie is absolutely amazing in every way! I have been seeing her for a while now and feel better and better the more I go. My back and hip pain are almost non existant now a I feel very relaxed after leaving my appointments with her.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
