From the reviews

I found the gem of a masseuse in SLC! WOW!! I have been looking for a real lymphatic drainage masseuse for over a year in Salt Lake City and finally found the best one. She’s knowledgeable, nurturing, takes her time to perfect specific areas, does REAL cupping!!!

I’ve been seeing Emily for lymphatic massage, for post-surgery care. She has been amazing! She is always so professional and kind, and the lymphatic massage that she does and her gentleness regarding my body has truly helped my recovery process - physically and emotionally!

★★★★★ — Keira, Feb 2024

I started seeing Emily for post-op lymphatic massages which were amazing and helped so much in my healing process. I’ve continued to see her regularly since then (6mos) because I feel so good afterwards. I didn’t realize how sluggish my lymphatic system was until getting the massages.

★★★★★ — Jodi, Apr 2024

Ive been coming to Emily for post surgical lymphatic massage and more frequently again as I recently had another procedure. She is simply the best. Her approach is gentle and has helped immensely in the healing process. I always leave Emily’s office feeling so better!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
