Lux Spa, Thank you so much. My husband has been suffering terribly with sciatic pain for almost three weeks. During that time, he was getting maybe two hours of sleep each night because the pain became even worse when he laid down or even sat. He was completely exhausted and worn down.
Great atmosphere for relaxation and healing! The music/scents are amazing! The tables are the most comfortable I've been on. Ive had several massages here and the past 2 have been with Candice. She takes her time, gives you just the pressure you ask for, and tells you what is needed when you are done.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
