From the reviews

If you are looking for an intuitive, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable acupuncturist, look no further! Dr. Mo has been a Godsend to me since I started seeing her a few years ago. Everytime I go in, I am certain I am going to leave feeling so much better!

★★★★★ — Eliana, Feb 2026

Maureen has worked on me with both acupuncture and cupping. I have always felt safe and relaxed during our sessions. She creates such a zen atmosphere. Her use of essential oils and melodic sounds help ease me, as I receive treatment. Cupping really helped clear muscle aches and menses irregularities.

★★★★★ — Caylynn, Dec 2021

I discovered Dr. Mau through word of mouth and could not be happier I finally booked an appointment! I've been seeing her routinely for a few years now. She is incredibly dedicated to her craft and the well-being of her clients. The office is very clean, warm, and aesthetically pleasing.

★★★★★ — Emily, Jan 2026

Maureen is an amazing healer. She listens carefully and communicates very well. I have seen her for acupuncture, cupping, and some sound healing and I have never felt better. She is so compassionate and knowledgeable and always makes me feel comfortable and “heard”.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
