From the reviews
Absolutely life saving! Mysciatica flared up from the nerve being pinched in my hip joint. I was unable to stand or walk normally. Christine worked my glutes, hips, hamstrings, back, everything!
Christina was great! She took the time to go over my areas of focus prior to the massage. During the appointment she adjusted pressure as I asked and was able to focus on my left knee as requested (recovering from ACL surgery). We tested some light cupping which worked well. You are in good hands with her experience!
I saw Christina for more than a year straight every month and was so sad when she moved out of state. I’ve never had a more talented and kind LMT before. I usually need a medium deep tissue massage with a lot of isolated work in my shoulders neck and back due to work stress and sitting for long hours at a laptop.
Christina is an exceptional massage therapist. She immediately gives you a feeling of peace and relaxation due to her delightful and caring demeanor. She has a healing touch and is always able to sense how much pressure I need. I prefer more deep tissue therapeutic massage versus relaxation pressure.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
