What clients say about the cupping here
“Before my first session, we talked about what my goal was, and she explained everything that she was doing during my first session.”
From the reviews
I have never done acupuncture before, but when my reproductive endocrinologist told me that there may be some benefits in acupuncture during IVF, I decided to give it a go! Deb was great, making appointments was easy, and she even adjusted her schedule to make sure that I could get pre/post transfer sessions with her.
I want to thank Deborah Duval for exceeding my expectations. She was attentive, listened, and very helpful with guidance regarding my needs . Being a Disabled Marine she guided me in the right direction with Standard Process product's to help with my sleep and anxiety.
I contacted Deb to find a Chinese herbal supplement for my mom who suffers from schizophrenia. Deb led me to the product and I am very thankful!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
