From the reviews
I've been getting regular treatments since my knee replacement. My physical therapist says I'm moving like I'm 2 months post op and I'm not yet to 1. I credit Summer and her acupuncture treatments.
First visit was wonderful. Pain free for the first time in 4 months. Walked out of her office feeling light and happy. I hold a lot of stress and it was just gone. Beautiful and calming office.
Summer is fantastic! I started seeing her due to chronic back pain, which is now virtually gone, and I am continuing with regular appointments for some hormonal issues. She takes her time with the intake appointment and makes sure every concern is addressed before every appointment.
It is amazing what acupuncture can do for the body. I’ve been going now I think for 3 years, everything from back pain, heartburn, headaches. My husband had ball palsy and received treatment for that. Would highly recommend trying if you have never experienced it before.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
