I'm so glad to have found this place! I started seeing Alison a year ago for acupuncture. She's wonderful! I always feel better after leaving. Has improved my sleep & helped lessen my anxiety. I also see Dr. Amanda for chiropractic care.

Dr Melanie is the nicest most knowledgeable person on earth. I was in a car wreck 5 years ago and have been to so many doctors and specialists and none were able to help. I had lost hope until several people referred me to Dr Melanie! After some time with her, she has helped my problems and I am finally free from pain!

★★★★★ — Jennifer’S, Dec 2019

I pulled something in my back and tried everything to get it better… nothing worked. Finally, I gave acupuncture a shot — and WOW. Within 24 hours my pain went from a 9 to a 3, and it was no longer all over my back. My mobility improved so much that I was able to return to work within 48 hours.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
