From the reviews
Lisa Baas is an amazing practitioner. I’ve been a client of Lisa’s for several years since moving to the Lehigh Valley and can attest that her care has been phenomenal. Lisa always listens intently and goes above and beyond to provide various alternatives when formulating a treatment plan.
Lisa Baas is a gem here in the Lehigh Valley…. Lisa has the curiosity and compassion, she listens, thinks, addresses, and helps resolve real life issues, physically, emotionally. I leave her office, feeling heard and with great clarity and a sense of well being that continues to evolve over time.
The moment I stepped into Lisa Baas' clinic, I felt a genuine air of care and expertise. I had been struggling with the unbearable pain of Ulcerative colitis for years. The traditional health system had failed me, and the recommended medications were expensive and worsened my condition.
I began my healing journey with Lisa in October of 2013. She is truly a knowledgeable, supportive and gifted partner in my health care. Lisa has an amazing array of techniques to discover what is disrupting your health and what is needed to bring you ease and balance, be it acupuncture, laser and color work,…
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
