Why Lion's Paw Massage is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “ranging from 30 minutes to 3-hours, each treatment is carefully tailored to your specific needs while promoting rejuvenation for both body and mind. Enhancements are available with Add-Ons such as: Hot Stones, CBD Gel, Cupping, and Warming…” source →

Exceptional service! I booked the same day and got a 90 minute massage on a Sunday while we were visiting on vacation driving through town. I’ve been having a lot of migraines on our trip and this was one of the most phenomenal massages I’ve ever had. and I’ve had a lot.

Lions Paw Massage was the best unexpected experience I’ve had since moving to Cody!! I had been trying for weeks to get into the massage business options I could see on Yelp with absolutely no luck. I finally asked ChatGPT where in Cody I could possibly find a last minute booking and Lions Paw came up as an option.

I have to say that I was apprehensive to book a massage appointment with a male. I know it’s just me, but I get nervous about things like that. However, Nick could not have been more professional.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
