Lovely office staff! Dr. Bartell is skilled and efficient. It doesn't take him long to figure out what's wrong and then immediately start making it better. Looking forward to more visits to keep improving, as well as massage and cupping therapy to aid in the healing process.
I can not say enough about how professional they have all been. And kind ,in six weeks I feel so much better. I can recommend them as the best chiropractor experience in the area. The massages are wonderful and the chiropractor Bartell a kind considerate man. And the reception staff are caring and compassionate.
I have been going to lighthouse health and wellness for over a year, and each and every time the staff is always nice and polite!! They are always willing to work with my schedule to the best of their abilities! I love this clinic, they have helped with my chronic back pain and migraines!
Love Dr Bartell!! He genuinely cares about how I'm doing and remembers conversations we have. He listens and doesn't ignore my input which is really a big deal to me. He has a great technique and I always feel better after being adjusted. Staff are also super professional yet friendly and personable.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
