I had an amazing experience here. Dr. Liu will talk to you and get to the root of your issues. He is very thorough and explains everything that he is doing, which is very helpful for people like me who get anxious about things! I can tell that he really cares about his patients and I appreciate that.

Dr.Liu was so awesome, friendly & welcoming! Went in with low back pain(due to a degenerative disc & stiffness) & came out of the appt feeling relieved with no pain. It was my first time doing acupuncture & cupping & man was it a game changer. He was very informative on what each service does to the body etc.

I recommend LightHill Acupuncture! The doctor is friendly and makes every visit easy and relaxing. Scheduling is simple, and they also accept insurance. Treatments such as acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, and massage have really helped me manage stress and stay on top of life. 5 stars!

Just had my first accupuncture treatment here for shoulder and neck soreness. The doctor was very polite, respectful and knowledgeable and walked me through each step of the treatment. I had my own private room for treatment and since this is a new establishment, everything was clean, sanitary and tidy.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
