From the reviews
…I needed one location that could provide cupping, massage, acupuncture etc. One location, because as a full-time working professional and a mother, there really are not enough hours in the day. What a blessing that I came across the reviews for LIC. Please believe the hype!
I have been going to LIC Acupuncture for a couple years now and have gone for various different reasons whether for acupuncture, PT, cupping, or massages. This practice has been extremely knowledgable, friendly, and helpful.
…I had cupping after a brief physical assessment. The practitioner I met was very kind and professional. They also have physical therapy, which I want to try later on. If you need care for better health with acupuncture, this is the place you should visit.
I have had a great experience here from the first time I came due to some back issues due to Pregnancy I was having in the beginning of March. After those issues were resolved I decided to do some physical therapy to assist with the pregnancy and the team has been so knowledgeable and kind.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
