OMGosh! I’ve been living in Cedar Hill for almost an entire year & visited numerous times for 2 years before that & had NEVER even heard of this amazing blessing🌟! Wow! As soon as I walked into the place I was greeted by the same friendly voice I heard over the phone when booking the appointment.

First time guest to this hidden treasure of a spa. Hubby treated me to a hot stone massage and I have to describe this experience. When we pulled up, it was the most charming building. You step up and are greeted with cute porch with comfy sofas that make you want to sit and relax.

Today I visited Lavish Retreat Spa and glad I found this gem in Cedar Hill! This had to be one of my best experiences at a Spa and I love me a good Spa experience. You will NOT be disappointed. I've recommended this place to at least 3 different people since I visited today. Please go and Treat YOURSELF!

Lavish Retreat Spa is truly a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you feel the peace — the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and intentionally curated for total relaxation and restoration. But let me talk about the TEAS and wellness products… absolutely amazing!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
