I searched over 10 hair salons in the vicinity for someone who can cut layers well and can understand my needs for my hair/scalp. La Pomponnee carried Aveda hair products which I am a loyalist to because it saved my inflamed scalp in the past and it did it again thanks to the salon’s help.
My beautician was Amanda. I am very happy with my hair after she curled it. I have long "salt & pepper" hair and the curls made it look much more interesting. I received many compliments! The style lasted beyond just Thursday. Thank you ❣️
Jeff's The Man! Always a great cut and goat trim and I look forward to every appointment I have with him. I used to go to someone for my haircuts for 20+ years until he retired and I will go to Jeff until he retires or I check out!
Had a great time at this location! Nas was my barber and didn’t disappoint whatsoever. Energy was great and the other barbers were incredibly funny and lighthearted! Will definitely be coming here for my cuts from now on.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
