From the reviews
I have been seeing Krista for more than 6 years following a recommendation by a physical therapist. She is highly competent, knows anatomy well, wants to make you feel better, and is just a really nice, friendly person. She is attentive to requests but also uses her judgment about areas she finds need relief.
Over the years I have been so fortunate to have Krista in the area. As a Physical Therapist, I refer my patients to Krista without reservation. She has an exceptional awareness of functional anatomy, muscle function and muscle imbalance in addition to exceptional manual skills.
I’ve been seeing Krista for years! She always does an amazing job! She has helped me with so many aches and pains especially with all my shoulder and neck pain I had prior to my carpal tunnel surgery. I wouldn’t have been able to function without her help! She is the kindest person and is so flexible with scheduling.
I’ve been seeing Krista for over two years now, and she’s truly incredible. Her work has made a huge difference in helping me manage my migraines, she has such an intuitive ability to go right to the places that need the most work. Every session feels really thoughtful and tailored, and I always leave feeling better.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
