From the reviews
I just had the most incredible experience with Kristen at KNY Wellness. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely welcome and at ease. Kristen is exceptionally thoughtful, caring, and deeply attentive — she took the time to truly understand my needs and was incredibly mindful of areas where I have…
I wholeheartedly recommend Kristen Youngberg at KNY Wellness. She has significantly helped me with chronic low back pain and stiffness (which arose from a puzzling combination of events, not a single mishap), for which I have been in physical therapy for over nine months.
I have known Kristen for a long time, and she has helped me tremendously with my lower back issues. She always takes the time to listen carefully to my concerns and works to address them during each session, which has helped alleviate my pain. Kristen is a great listener, very professional, and truly caring.
My massage therapist of 10 years recently relocated and I didn't think it would be possible to replace her. I was wrong! I've had three massages with Kristen so far at KNY Wellness and have become a "regular". Not only is my chronic shoulder pain showing a definite improvement but I leave feeling sooooo relaxed.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
