Julene is one of a kind! She always makes sure to check in and assess what needs the most help. Quick to give recommendations for home/self care to promote healing. I always leave feeling so much more relaxed than when I came in, whether it's for a massage or some Reiki Meditation.
Julene always assess what you need and works with a good plan of how to make you feel better. She’s very understanding when it comes to massages and is willing to help you in any way she can.
She is an excellent massage therapist. She has a lot of years of experience and really knows what's going on with your body
Julene is filled with joy and shares it liberally. I experienced my first Sound Bath with a dozen plus other clients in her light filled studio. I highly recommend this healing session.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
