I’ve been to King Spa multiple times now and every visit has been amazing. I got the deep tissue massage combined with hot stone therapy and a pain relieving oil, and it honestly made such a difference. The therapist really took the time to work out the tension I was holding, especially around my back and shoulders.
We have been here several times and it is always fantastic! We have never had to request a specific person because they are all great! They combine message, stretching and hot stone. Booking is always very easy as well. Visit and you will not be disappointed!
I visit Texas often for work, and happened to be in town on a holiday when most places were closed. I stumbled upon this gem, because of logistics. I've had many massages from many places all over the world.
This was my first massage experience!! I enjoyed it. The masseuse knew what she was doing, very respectful, professional environment. Calming ambiance and all the staff was welcoming, informative and kind. She even asked if I was okay a few times when placing the hot coal on me, I told her it was my first time.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
