Got a facial with Tammy and a mud wrap and massage from Jyn last week and the whole experience was wonderful! I love the vibe the place has from being built in a home and each room was decorated uniquely. Tammy customized my facial and did extractions without causing damage to my skin.
I started seeing Misty at Essentials for prenatal massages while I was pregnant, and just got my first (5 months postpartum) therapeutic massage. Just WOW, Misty is truly amazing at what she does.
First time there will definitely go back! It was a relaxing atmosphere then Misty came and got me for my massage OMG!! I have a hard time relaxing (normally) well about 15 minutes in I was so relaxed and I just felt like I was melting into Misty’s hands she is so good! Sweet and very caring person!
I had a full body massage and Misty was very calming and made sure I comfortable each step. The room smelled amazing.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
