Verified cupping provider Insurance accepted

Why Kinetic Spine & Sports is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “hamstrings, not my back! Once that area was treated and he gave me stretches to do at home, I mentioned to Ben that I also suffered from chronic pain in my neck and shoulder due to a prior injury. He then switched to a "cupping" technique…” source →

From the reviews

I tweaked my back while on vacation in NC and was fortunate to get a last minute appointment with Ben. Due to his vast knowledge of Structural Integration and experience with Neuromuscular Therapy he was able to alleviate the pain in my back almost immediately using techniques I had never experienced previously.

Hands down the best chiropractic office I have been to for a variety of reasons. 1. Dr Dan is a smart, logical, and practical doctor. He understands the body well and accurately addresses your issues...no matter from which activity your problem arises.

At 55 yrs of age I have tried many different modalities of body work and sports injury rehab- Dr.Dan and his team serve with tremendous skill and genuine care. Dr. Dan gets right to the source of my pain point. His knowledge of the body is extensive and I completely trust his capacity to produce the result every time!

I’ve been from doctor to doctor in all the Charlotte area and I sadly have to say that most of the doctors nowadays have lost the care for their patients, after 2 years of physical therapy, antibiotics, anti inflammatory medication, shots, etc etc I met Doctor Dan, He listened and cared for my symptoms, He is very…

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
