From the reviews
Michelle was awesome from setup to handing me off to Terry. Terry was AMAZINGGGGGGGG at everything he did. I felt like I was being taken care of the proper way. As someone who has gotten their fair share of massages and all sorts of good stuff - this experience with cupping was absolutely divine!
Evan is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and passionate about what he does. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes the whole experience feel easy and personalized. On top of being extremely skilled, he’s also amazing with people — professional, approachable, and genuinely invested in results.
When I had my knee replaced and was told to sing up for PT, I knew nothing about where to go and who to see. I initially chose a local company for the sake of convenience. I quickly learned that this was not the right choice for me. I then signed up at Carolina Sports Clinic and it was like night and day.
I am so pleased that my doctor referred Carolina Sports Clinic to me for my hip/back pain. I have had a few sessions with Dr. Hill yet the treatments have really helped my body! I have mentioned the group to a few people already. I want to continue to get stronger and heal...so I will keep my appointments.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
