From the reviews

…She explains the process of acupuncture and cupping and provides excellent care toward fixing the area of pain. Covid safety protocols were of high importance as well! I will go back and would recommend Autumn and her practice to any!

★★★★★ — Kayla, Nov 2020

…We did a cupping treatment this time (which did wonders) as well as the acupuncture. After just two visits with her, my symptoms are vastly improved, and I leave her office each time feeling so stress-free, renewed of energy, and revitalized of body and mind.

I have been seeing Autumn Jensen at Key Element Accupuncture for over 2 years. She is treating me for Asthma. I have smoke induced asthma which is triggered by fire smoke in Summer and fireplaces in winter. Since seeing Autumn every 6 weeks I now no longer carry my inhaler. She has really helped me.

★★★★★ — Maureen, Feb 2025

Autumn is fantastic. I came to her with chronic elbow and back pain, and she has made a huge difference in how I feel day to day. She’s knowledgeable, attentive, and truly skilled at what she does. Every session is thoughtful and effective, and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
