I’ve been working with Jana for 2 1/2 years now. I can’t say enough positive things about her. I started seeing Jana due to challenges with becoming pregnant. She was by my side every step of the way and gave me the strength to keep going when I wasn’t sure that I could.
After a scary health diagnosis and two miscarriages back to back I was discouraged that we would never get to have our baby we’d hoped for . After a friend suggested acupuncture I figured I would give it a shot . Walking in I found the receptionist to be so warm and welcoming as she showed me around .
The atmosphere in the office of Inspired Wellness Center is a feeling of serenity. Jana is a beautiful person inside and out. She is friendly, funny and passionate about her craft. I have been going to Jana for years, we have worked on many issues and have had great success.
Jana is a Godsend! I was hesitant about acupuncture at first but Jana put my mind and heart at ease. The needles she uses are so thin I can hardly feel them! I saw her for hormone regulation, fertility support and now for overall health stuff and anxiety-we are now five months pregnant and feeling pretty good!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
