From the reviews
I use Kathy for pain management. For five or six years I've had excellent results. Kathy has a healing vocation.
Kathy has helped me with various health issues over several years. Now I am facing a serious medical diagnosis. Thanks to Kathy’s treatments, I have avoided taking the opioids and other traditional meds with serious side effects..
You have such a healing spirit and are an amazing and gifted acupuncturist. The treatments I have have received from you over the years have provided me such relief from my chronic pain and headaches.
I've seen Kathy for treatment for over 3 years and can't recommend her strongly enough. She is extremely professional, personable, and caring. Kathy takes the time to listen to my needs to ensure I receive the best treatment.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
