What clients say about the cupping here
“<3 I love the quiet location (hate it when I can hear others talk outside my door while getting a massage), very professional and efficient.”
“She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable.”
From the reviews
Jeannine is very personable. Best massage I've had since I moved to Charelston. She also does cupping therapy upon request. Parking is easy.
Jeannine is wonderful! She is very knowledgeable and uses different techniques to help with problem areas. She includes things like aromatherapy and hot towels and foot wraps in her massage. Others will charge for those as add-ons.
I had an incredible experience! I've seen a lot of chiropractors, Drs, and masseuses over the past five years, this is without a doubt the most relief I've seen. In five years I've only had a few completely pain free days and this was one of them.
Jeanine is the best. She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable. I am hooked. Highly recommended!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
