From the reviews
Dr. Kari Ye was very helpful with her consultation and treatment for my back injury. She takes a very holistic approach to handling injuries and ailments with a combination of acupuncture and cupping based on your specific needs. The new facility is very nice and extremely well maintained.
I absolutely love and recommend Juntendo clinic! I was diagnosed with MCAS- an autoimmune disorder that in my case gave me histamine intolerance and suffered from anaphylactic shocks. I had 15 anaphylactic shocks in 12 months!
I first started going to Juntendo about 10 years ago for chronic migraines. They were so bad at that time that I was missing work often and was living in fear of when the next one would come. After only 2 or 3 sessions with Dr. Ye, the migraines stopped and to this day I am migraine free!
I have been going to Dr Keri for my back for about 8 years now. I work in the health care and I have frequent episodes of back pain. I do not like taking medications or going for surgery as my surgeon has recommended me in the past. Since I have been going to Dr Keri I feel so much better, I do not take medications.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
