From the reviews

I had total knee replacement in mid November of 2024 and started my out patient therapy the beginning of December. I've been working 1on 1 with Lydia from the start and my experience has been great. I'm at the 10 week mark since surgery and I feel much stronger, I have no pain and very little joint soreness.

★★★★★ — John, Jan 2025

can’t say enough good things about the quality of physical therapy I’ve received at Jumpstart Physical Therapy. After multiple hip surgeries, including 2 arthroscopies and a PAO, I found Jenn to help me through recovery.

★★★★★ — Savannah, May 2026

I would 10000000% recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is looking for a Physical Therapy place. After a year and a half and two major surgeries Jumpstart became my second home (in the best way possible). Everyone is so extremely nice and really treats you as part of their family.

★★★★★ — Emily, Dec 2025

I really cannot speak highly enough about Jump Start and its staff. I have been a patient on and off since 2017, and the experience I've had with every physical therapist there has been stellar. I went to them after my hip surgery and received great care.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
