What clients say about the cupping here
“After just a few treatments, I noticed a significant improvement in my posture, tension relief, and overall well-being.”
“Not only did she help relieve my pain almost like magic, but she was also incredibly professional and attentive throughout the entire process.”
“She made the entire process comfortable for me, taking the time to understand my concerns and explaining how acupuncture could be beneficial for my sports-related issues.”
“I started seeing Dr Kim during a stressful period at my job and often arrived to my sessions impatient and stressed—but when I left, I would feel always feel much calmer, relaxed and balanced.”
“I was on the lookout for a solution for my sports injuries, tried a lot of different things, when I stumbled upon the idea of acupuncture.”
“🙏🏽 I wasn’t expecting such a calm, relaxing vibe either, the treatments felt super clean and professional but also chill, not clinical.”
“I had never had acupuncture before so I was a little nervous but Dr Kim’s manner put me at ease and I barely felt the needles when she applied them.”
From the reviews
I was familiar with acupuncture and cupping practices because of my family members so when I was experiencing pain in my knees I decided to seek acupuncture treatments. A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Kim and the results are significant given that my knee was slightly swollen at that time.
I am disabled and work from home, which creates multiple, physically painful challenges. Dr. Kim consistently takes the time to understand exactly what pain I am experiencing and what factors beyond the obvious may be contributing to it.
I recently had an amazing experience at JSK Acupuncture. As someone who struggles with chronic turtle neck syndrome from long hours of office work, I was searching for a treatment that truly worked—and I found it here.
I've been dealing with a lousy case of tennis elbow for the past year. I've had two bouts of PT, multiple visits to the chiropractor, and a cortisone injection. NOTHING has worked. Dr. Kim was recommended to me and after two visits I was able to play tennis "almost " pain free.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
