From the reviews
All-around, great team to work with for PT needs. From the start, Jamie has been incredible to work with on the on-boarding and scheduling process. Super helpful, extremely friendly! My PT, Erica, has made my recovery from a sports-related injury so much more achievable.
I highly recommend this place. I am very satisfied with the 1-on-1 therapy at the Joint Ventures Physical Therapy and Fitness. The therapists listen to your needs and develop a plan and strategy to meet your short-term and long-term goals. During each visit, you are 100% of their focus.
Have been receiving PT from Josh for very arthritic knees. As I do not yet qualify for knee replacements, physical therapy is an option to help keep me mobile and keep up with my 2 yr old grandson.
I have been working with Jaclyn C. since several months remotely over the pandemic months. She has gained my trust with her thoroughness, knowledge and real commitment to her work as a PT. She worked around my concerns and personal needs to craft a great care plan which worked very well.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
