From the reviews
Jessi is a wonderful massage therapist. She is caring and listens to you. She has experience in several different techniques. Her myofacial release and cupping were very effective for my medical issues. I was a client for several years.
I’ve now been twice. The first was a basic 60 minute massage and then we tried cupping for the first time. I was a tad nervous about cupping but Jessi explained what to expect before and after. I’m looking forward to continued sessions to help with years of poor posture, stress and tension. Both sessions were great!
I cannot say enough good things about Jessi — she is truly the best LMT I have ever worked with. My body is complex and delicate: my lumbar and thoracic spine, SI joints, and sacrum are all fused, and I have titanium rods supporting my spine on both sides. I also deal with significant osteoarthritis in my hips.
First time massage from Jessi and she was awesome! Performed a massage procedure that helped me regain some movement in my shoulders. Both have limited movement due to rotator cuff issues. I really need to get back for another massage soon!!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
