What clients say about the cupping here
“I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing, relaxing massage.”
From the reviews
Janice gives the best massages, I'm a hairstylist and my lower back & hips have been hurting me. I just recieved a massage from on Monday, and have been feeling so much better already. She also incorporates hot stones & hot towels which makes your experience even better. Her new space is beautiful! I highly recommend!
I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences with Janice for the past few years! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing, relaxing massage. Her studio is adorable, and her pricing is very affordable. I look forward to my next massage with her!
Janice does a Great Job with getting to you know and finding out how best to help you and get the most out of your massage. She has created a relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely go back and recommend Janice to others.
Janice is pleasant, kind, and does a great job helping me relax and working out tense and tired muscles.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
