…April’s sinus cupping session was pure magic. I arrived foggy-headed and congested; I left light, clear, and calm. She works with both precision and compassion, intuitively reading what my body needs. The combination of cupping, massage, and her gentle grounding energy released pressure I didn’t realize I was carrying.
First timer here! I am very suspicious of any kind of therapy and I don't trust doctors. That being said it was a great experience. I was nervous to say the least. I had Victoria a very nice lady who made me relax and talk to like a friend.
Rebecca is no joke, a miracle worker. I have incredible neck pain, and pain that aches and shoots down my arms. She has somehow managed to get a significant amount of that pain gone just after two sessions. I don't even know how to explain what an expert she must be in order to accomplish what she does.
Had Victoria earlier today, such a great job. She broke up all the knots that I had in my lower back and put me into such a relaxation state, felt like I was asleep but felt everything. What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
