I've been having pains in my lower back for a few months that was gradually worsening. Instead of going to the chiropractor, I made an appt with Intuitive Choice and they came out to my home (love this!). The ladies had their masks on the entire time. The PT table they brought in was sanitized.
I have been to physical therapy many years ago at different places and never have I gotten the results or the convenience that I have from Intuitive choice. I had gone to the chiropractor and acupuncture before calling them.
I would highly recommend physical therapy from Megan and Ashley to anyone! Within just four weeks, I have been able to bend my hamstring, do a lunge, and many other exercises without pain for the first time in several years.
Ashley and Megan are the BEST. I’ve worked with several physical therapists and not gotten results. But I‘ve gotten GREAT results with Ashley and Megan. My knees no longer hurt. I’ve impressed my doctor by the way I can stand up and sit down in a chair. Their expertise is unmatched.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
