I've really enjoyed seeing Ciel for my prenatal massages. She has a very calm presence and I feel very safe and comfortable with her. I always leave feeling very relaxed. I'm sure I will continue seeing her after the baby comes. The space itself is also very nice and soothing.
I absolutely love this place. Let’s just start with the vibe. You walk in and it’s so dark and cozy, you immediately feel relaxed and welcomed. Now the people — the people are SOOO nice. Truly some of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life.
I've been coming to Intuit Healing since 2023 and it's by far my favorite place in Chicago for massages. I love the calming energy as soon as you walk into the space. I've had massages from a few different therapists but Christine Peake is hands down (no pun intended) the best there is!
Shoutout to Ariel who gave me an amazing massage yesterday. Some aches and pains I’ve been experiencing for a while are feeling significantly better today. I’d definitely recommend her if you like a firmer massage. She’s friendly and clearly very knowledgeable. 10/10 would see Ariel again.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
