Kati is an excellent acupuncturist. She truly listens during the intake and thoughtfully tailors each treatment to what your body needs that day. I always feel cared for and supported throughout the session. I especially love the fire cupping at the end and the warming oil she uses—it’s the perfect finishing touch.
Kati has helped me take control of my health, and thus my whole life again. Her vitalist, holistic approach to treatment considers the individual needs of each patient which she tailors each treatment to specifically do what you need most, every time.
Kati has been a true gift in my healing journey. Working with her has transformed my nervous system from one that felt overwhelmed, anxious, and unsteady into one that feels calm, grounded, confident, and deeply regulated. What I appreciate most about Kati is her incredible empathy, presence, and attunement.
Katie has truly transformed my well-being during every visit. From the moment I walk into her practice, I feel heard and understood. Her ability to tune into my body and the current state of my life is remarkable.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
