Without a doubt, Donna, has been one of the most helpful NMT's I have met. She is intricately knowledgable, and shares that knowledge, with her clients. Wanting to return clients to their optimal level of activity, Donna gives clear instructions, goals and treatments to help between appointments.
I have been to see Donna several times over the past few years with multiple problems. After each visit, I noticed a big improvement and some symptoms were gone. I even noticed changes in my posture. Whenever I have a problem, I do not hesitate to call Donna and make an appointment.
Donna has been a life changer for me. I have had extensive hip surgeries with a long history of hip and back pain. Whether it is maintenance or emergency care, she is always ready with her compassionate, professional response.
Donna is FANTASTIC! I had painful and debilitating knots in my shoulder for over 20 years that no treatment was able to resolve. Donna provided more relief in one session than I ever got in 20 years! She’s now working on the other areas of my back and shoulders that were secondary problem areas.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
