From the reviews

Found this place when I was looking for a massage therapist in Thornton. It was the Lisa Parker website. So I called the number to schedule an appointment. I scheduled with Chaundra. Very professional and attentive. Looks like she is licensed in Texas and Colorado. It was a very good massage.

I had my first massage with Rachael this week and she was great. I have seen Lisa many times but her schedule was full so she recommended Rachael. I felt that Rachael really listened and did a superb job. I immediately booked another appointment with her and highly recommend her.

My husband and I have been regular clients of Lisa's for just under five years. She always knows exactly what needs the most attention and the perfect therapy to relax and/or heal. Her pressure is perfect. Her location is attractive, clean, and relaxing.

I have had several acupuncture sessions with Lisa and they've all been very therapeutic. Lisa takes the time to find out your needs and creates a safe environment for your therapy. I highly recommend Lisa.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
