From the reviews

I worked with Christine Roy at Integrative Therapeutics in 2021 for some knee issues and she was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, patient, and gave me a variety of exercises and stretches, many of which I'm still doing years later so the issues that led me to PT are less likely to recur.

I had a fantastic experience with Christine while recovering from a rotator cuff injury. From the very first session, she was thorough, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about shoulder rehabilitation. Christine created a personalized plan that helped me regain strength, mobility, and confidence in my shoulder.

Todd Forman helped me to resolve the source of hip and back pain I had been having for almost a year. He is very knowledgeable, careful, and professional. His office staff also are very helpful.I give him my highest recommendation.

★★★★★ — Joanne, Oct 2021

In my experience with several periods of PT in the last years, Integrative Therapeutics has truly excellent physical therapists. They're very skilled and they treat you as a person, not a set of symptoms.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
